Valpers Consult & ITAD Bulgaria – A Sustainable Partnership with a Mission

  1. Valpers Consult & ITAD Bulgaria – A Sustainable Partnership with a Mission

At ITAD Bulgaria, we believe that real change starts with strong connections between companies that care not only about business but also about the future. That is why we were honored to recognize Valpers Consult with a Sustainable Partnership Certificate—a testament to their active contribution to environmental protection through the distribution of refurbished computer equipment.

In the following lines, Vasil Melev from Valpers Consult shares the significance of this certification, how a technology company can drive positive change, and why refurbished IT equipment is the logical choice for the future.

First of all, congratulations on the certificate! What does it mean for your team?

Thank you sincerely. We accept this recognition with great respect. Since 2002, we have been building Valpers Consult as a trusted partner in the world of technology, but we strive to be more—to be part of a future where technology doesn’t harm but helps protect the environment. This certificate symbolizes trust and shared values with ITAD Bulgaria.

What attracted you to partnering with ITAD Bulgaria?

At first glance, ITAD Bulgaria is a young company, but behind it stands a wealth of experience—over three decades, thanks to its founders, Dimitar Chakmakov and Evgeni Iliev. Their work with refurbished technology is not just driven by expertise but by the ideology that business can and must be responsible for the planet. These shared values laid the foundation for our partnership.

Tell us more about the certificate—what does it represent?

The certificate is part of ITAD Bulgaria’s mission to recognize companies that make a real contribution to the circular economy and environmental protection. Valpers Consult was selected for our long-term commitment to distributing refurbished technology, maintaining high quality, and fostering sustainable relationships with clients—from municipalities and schools to private businesses.

Why did you choose refurbished IT equipment as part of your professional path?

It all started with the desire to offer a meaningful alternative—one that is both practical for clients and responsible toward the environment. Distributing refurbished IT equipment allowed us to achieve this: giving devices a second life while developing a sustainable business model. We strive for a future that adds value for people, businesses, and nature.

Circular economy seems to be at the heart of this. How do you see the idea of giving technology a "new life"?

It is at the core of our mission. Using instead of discarding is a principle that changes everything—from production to consumption. When we extend the life of a device, we not only maximize its value and save resources but also send a clear message that we can live and work smarter. Circular economy is not just the future—it is the necessity of the present.

You and ITAD Bulgaria share a common vision. How would you describe them?

They don’t just talk about sustainability—they live it. For us, ITAD Bulgaria is an example of how a business can be green, profitable, and responsible at the same time. In a world where technology ages fast and waste grows even faster, our partnership proves that there is an alternative and that we don’t have to compromise when it comes to our future.
